2019 Oscar Winners – The 91st Academy Awards ceremony was held on February 24, 2019, at the Dolby Theatre in Hollywood, Los Angeles, California, United States. Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Science (AMPAS) presented the 91st Academy Awards for honored the best films of 2018. The actors Kumail Nanjiani and Tracee Ellis Ross announced the nominees for the 91st Academy Awards on January 22, 2019 at the Samuel Goldwyn Theatre in Beverly Hills, California.
2019 Oscar Winners (Academy Awards) List:
AMPAS presented the Oscars in 24 categories. Bohemian Rhapsody won four awards. Green Book, Roma and Black Panther also received three awards.
1. Best Picture:
Green Book – Jim Burke, Charles B. Wessler, Brian Currie, Peter Farrelly and Nick Vallelonga.
2. Best Director:
Alfonso Cuaron – Roma.
Alfonso also received Best Director and Best Film Editing Academy Awards for his last movie Gravity.
3. Best Actor:
Rami Malek – Bohemian Rhapsody as Freddie Mercury
4. Best Actress:
Olivia Colman – The Favourite as Anne, Queen of Great Britain
5. Best Supporting Actor:
Mahershala Ali – Green Book as Don Shirley
This is the second Oscar for Mahershala Ali. He also received an Academy Award for Best Supporting Actor for Moonlight, becoming the first Muslim to won an Academy award for acting.
6. Best Supporting Actress:
Regina King – If Beale Street Could Talk as Sharon Rivers
7. Best Original Screenplay:
Green Book – Written by Nick Vallelonga, Brian Currie & Peter Farrelly
8. Best Adapted Screenplay:
BlacKkKlansman – Screenplay by Charlie Wachtel & David Rabinowitz and Kevin Willmott & Spike Lee; based on the book by Ron Stallworth
9. Best Animated Feature Film:
Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse – Bob Persichetti, Peter Ramsey, Rodney Rothman, Phil Lord and Christopher Miller
10. Best Foreign Language Film:
Roma (Mexico) in Spanish and Mixtec – Directed by Alfonso Cuarón
Alfonso also received Oscar for Best Director for this Film.
11. Best Documentary – Feature:
Free Solo – Elizabeth Chai Vasarhelyi, Jimmy Chin, Evan Hayes and Shannon Dill
12. Best Documentary – Short Subject:

13. Best Live Action Short Film:
